Sony launched its own cloud-based gaming service PlayStation Now even before it became fashionable. The company was gradually developing its brainchild, and now felt the impending threat from Stadia and xCloud, and decided to push.

What is known

First, the PlayStation Now game library has expanded to include God of War (2018), Infamous Second Son, and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Together with console exclusives, users of the service will have access to the plot of GTA 5, and online mode will be available only after loading the game on the console. Recently, Sony allows you to not only play in the cloud, but also download games to the PlayStation 4. These games will be available until January 2, 2020, until Sony again begins to change the list of available projects.

The second important update will be the price. PlayStation Now subscription is now available at half the price. So, the user’s month will cost 10, for quarterly access you will have to pay 25, and the annual pass now costs 60.

Recall that PlayStation Now is a streaming service that allows you to run games from PS4, PS3 and PS2 to PC and PlayStation 4 in the cloud or console power. According to Sony, the service library has more than 800 games. The service is available in 19 regions, but has not reached Ukraine and the CIS countries. However, Sony recently secured Microsoft support and can fix this problem.
